Saturday, August 4, 2021 at 2:00pm an energetic crowd of sixty two people assembled to learn and train on what they needed to do to work on Delores Gunn's campaign for Mayor. All ages, races and sex sat down together patiently to learn what was expected of them. Everyone participated in training and then sat down to a catered lunch and left energized to help make Delores Gunn the next Mayor of Forest Park. .


Delores says “I am really humbled by the level of support I have gotten since I accepted to run for Mayor of Forest Park. It is nice to know that people are willing to help me based on who I am as a human being. I didn't expect this many people to want to help me." Candidate qualifying for Mayor and City Council seats Ward 1 and Ward 2 begin this Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Forest Park Hall and extends to Thursday, August 19, 2021. The Election will be held on November 2, 2021 from 7am to 7pm at the Elaine Corley Recreation Center.
